Fully funded PhD position available
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PhD student (available from September 2024) to study the links between reproductive mode evolution and speciation in intertidal snails. The successful applicant will use a new reference genome, new and existing genomic data, and cutting-edge methods to determine if mode-associated loci also act as barriers to gene flow. Ideal candidates will have some bioinformatics skills, experience working with genomic datasets, and be excited about the subject area.

Interested in doing a postdoc in the group?
If you are, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. There are several funding opportunities available to PhD graduates and established postdocs from the UK and abroad. I am happy to work with you to develop a proposal focusing on a systems that we already study, but will also support people who would like to continue to work on their own system. I will advertise funded positions here as they arise.
